*The three major languages of Afghanistan — Pashto, Dari (a form of Persian), and Arabic — as discussed on John Kiriakou's show with NSA whistleblower and former military linguist Reality Winner.*

On [John Kiriakou](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/john-kiriakou)'s show, NSA whistleblower Reality Winner was asked about her work as a translator in Pashto, Dari (a form of Persian), and Arabic — three of the major languages spoken in Afghanistan — and clarified that she did not yet know Arabic, calling it something she had been trying to learn on and off.
