**Cori Bush** is a former U.S. Representative from Missouri's 1st congressional district (St. Louis). She is cited by [John Kiriakou](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/john-kiriakou) — alongside [Jamaal Bowman](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/jamaal-bowman) — as one of the two named cases of [AIPAC](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/aipac) successfully primarying an incumbent House member after the member publicly characterized Israel's prosecution of the Gaza war as a *"wholesale massacre of Palestinian civilians and women and children."*[1][2]

> Cori Bush, for example, in St. Louis — they threw her out on her ass. … Why? Because they said, you know, maybe the Israelis shouldn't be massacring all these women and children.[2]
