*Per Megyn Kelly's opening monologue, the EPA administrator reportedly considered by Trump as a possible replacement for Attorney General Pam Bondi.*

- **Role:** EPA Administrator
- **Reported context:** Possible replacement for Attorney General Pam Bondi

**Lee Zeldin**, rendered "Lee Zeldon" in the source transcript, is discussed by Megyn Kelly, in her opening monologue on the episode that later featured [John Kiriakou](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/john-kiriakou), as the sitting EPA administrator reportedly considered by [Trump](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/trump) as a possible replacement for Attorney General [Pam Bondi](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/pam-bondi), per a Semaphore report that Trump had told Bondi her time as attorney general was "nearing an end."[1]

Kelly later reports, reading a Trump statement live on air during her interview with Kiriakou, that Deputy Attorney General [Todd Blanche](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/todd-blanch), not Zeldin, was named to the role, seen as making "a lot more sense," both because of his job title and his reputation as well-liked within the department.[2]
