**Mack McLarty** is a U.S. political consultant who served as White House Chief of Staff to President [Bill Clinton](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/bill-clinton). He is the founder of McLarty Associates — formerly Kissinger McLarty — and is identified by [John Kiriakou](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/john-kiriakou) as one of the figures in Washington who provided him with material support in the period after his departure from the [Central Intelligence Agency](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/cia) and before his Senate Foreign Relations Committee position.[1]

In 2008 McLarty *"very generously offered me an office and a part-time secretary in McLarty Associates."* Kiriakou: *"Back then it was Kissinger McLarty. I was very, very indebted to him. He was very kind to me."* It was through the McLarty Associates office that Kiriakou first encountered [Bill Richardson](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/bill-richardson), then on McLarty's board of directors.[1]
