The Raymond Davis Lahore shooting was a 2011 incident in Lahore, Pakistan, in which CIA contractor Raymond Davis shot and killed two Pakistani nationals who approached his car with drawn guns. Per John Kiriakou, rather than fleeing the scene, Davis stayed and called the consulate for help — consistent with CIA tradecraft for “getting off the X” rather than seeking cover and running.[1]
A consulate SUV sent to rescue Davis struck and killed an uninvolved Pakistani man riding a bicycle on its way to the scene. Pakistani police arrested Davis, and found on him a black mask, roughly 100 bullets, and a cell phone containing photographs of Pakistani military installations.[2]
