Strawberry Fields is the Central Intelligence Agency’s informal name for a secret annex of the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base used as a black site in the agency’s post-September 11 enhanced interrogation program. Its existence was first publicly disclosed in the December 2014 Senate Torture Report, where it appears alongside the agency’s other black sites in Afghanistan, Lithuania, Romania, Poland, and Thailand.^[1]
