*Named by Kiriakou both as an FBI whistleblower who exposed racism at the bureau and as one of two Intercept journalists who sent him to prison.*

- **Outlet:** The Intercept
- **Named alongside:** Daniel Hale (per Kiriakou)

**Terry Aubry** is named by [John Kiriakou](https://www.kiripedia.org/wiki/john-kiriakou) as one of two Intercept journalists he holds responsible for the prosecutions of both himself and NSA whistleblower Reality Winner. Kiriakou states: "The two Intercept journalists that were responsible for sending you to prison were the two Intercept journalists responsible for sending me to prison" — naming "Daniel Hail[e] and Terry Aubry."[1]

Separately, Kiriakou identifies Terry Aubry himself as an FBI whistleblower who exposed systemic racism at the FBI. Aubry was identified as the source, in Kiriakou's account, after the FBI reviewed security-camera footage from every FBI field office in the country until it found a shot of him photographing his own computer screen.[2]

Kiriakou says he tweeted at the Intercept after Winner's arrest, asking, "Are you guys just stupid, or are you working for the FBI?" — a question he says the outlet never answered.[3]
