Three members of the Saudi royal family whose names and cell-phone numbers appeared in Abu Zubaydah's address book at the time of his March 2002 capture in Pakistan; per John Kiriakou, after the CIA confronted the Saudi government with the contents — "we're going to start killing people, and some of them may be named al-Saud, if you don't get on the stick" — all three were dead within a week, of a heart attack at age 43, a single-car accident with failed brakes on the Riyadh–Jeddah highway, and thirst while camping alone in the desert.
The three Saudi princes are the three members of the Saudi royal family whose names and cell-phone numbers appeared in the address-book section of Abu Zubaydah’s personal effects at the time of his March 2002 capture in Pakistan. Per John Kiriakou, all three were dead within a week of the CIA confronting the Saudi government with the contents.[1][2]
The CIA message
Kiriakou: “In the address book part there were the names and cell-phone numbers of three Saudi princes. So to make a long story short, we went to the Saudis and we said, ‘We’re going to start killing people, and some of them may be named al-Saud, if you don’t get on the stick.’ Well, within a week all three of them were dead.”[2]
