John Kiriakou's comment on the appointment of Lindsey Graham's sister to serve out the remainder of his Senate term, and her announcement that she would run for a full term of her own — a candidacy whose only qualification, in Kiriakou's assessment, is her relation to the late senator.

The remark comes at the end of a long and unsparing passage about Graham himself, whom Kiriakou describes as probably the biggest cheerleader for war with Iran in Washington, with extraordinary access to Benjamin Netanyahu — speaking with him, by many accounts, more than with some senior American officials.[1]
